We specialise in the distinguished group of sporting guns known as “best English guns”, made in London and Birmingham from the late 19th to the mid 20th century. In the gun room at Charlbury, we usually have classic shotguns by Henry Atkin, W Greener, William Evans, Harrison & Hussey, Chas Hellis, Joseph Lang and William Powell.

What we don’t stock, we can source. Send us a description of the gun you seek – whether it’s a 28 bore for walked up days or a pair of grouse guns – and we will mine our contacts in the trade and private collections, and keep an eye on the market, until we find it for you.
